Ésta era mi referencia de Scarborough hasta hoy: Scarborough Fair, en la versión de S imon and Garfunkel . It is an English folk song about a market fair that took place in the town of Scarborough in Yorkshire during medieval times; it was an annual trading fair which lasted for 45 days starting on August 15. Like any fair, it attracted traders, entertainers and food vendors, along with other hangers-on. The fair was granted a charter in 1253, peaked in the late 14th century and continued to operate until 1788. Scarborough is a seaside town onthe east coast of England facing the North Sea. It is a popular place for families to visit during the summer.
